US AND EU HYDROGEN UPDATE, CARDIFF -
SEMINAR SUCCESS FOR CAMBRENSIS / WDA - 26 September 2003
The joint seminar to launch Cambrensis' Renewables and Hydrogen Contact
Group held with the Welsh Development Agency's Future Technologies
Group in Cardiff on 26 September 2003 was very well attended and provoked
considerable interest. Delegates from government, agencies, industry
and science came from all round Wales and from outside Wales.
David
Citron of the US Embassy gave a presentation on recent
US developments also being shown by the US Department of Energy
at the Grove Fuel Cell
seminar in London the same week. Download

Wilson of Cambrensis reported on some of the more significant
contributions at the US National Hydrogen Association's meeting in
Washington D.C. in March 2003, where he had been a speaker. Download

John Murlis of Cambrensis gave a presentation on recent
EU developments which covered the June 2003 conference in Brussels
which he had attended.
Some of the material for this was contributed by Dr Bill Borthwick

Dennis Hawkes of Glamorgan University contributed a round
up on hydrogen developments in Wales. And Dr Geoff Dutton of
the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory introduced the UK hydrogen network. Download
