COMMUNICATING CLIMATE CHANGE WORKSHOP

Thursday 19 October 2006, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Middle Temple, London EC4

What is the public supposed to do about climate change? How do we ensure that the best available scientific information reaches the public? How do we best engage the energies of 11 to 18 year olds in tackling climate change, so that they can contribute to new solutions? Cambrensis will be taking a completely new look at these issues in a one day workshop, inviting some leading climate scientists and policy makers, and senior figures from the media, communications and education to help work out some new approaches.

It will include work on our own proposal for a website to make available unbiased scientific information on climate change for 11 to 18 years olds in the languages spoken in key emerging economies.

William WILSON, Cambrensis
Rt. Revd. John OLIVER on Climate Change as a Faith or Ethical Issue
