Cambrensis Director William Wilson has been called to give evidence to two parallel inquiries by Parliamentary Committees considering the UK government's Draft Climate Change Bill.

He will give evidence at sessions before the Joint Committee (of the House of Commons and House of Lords) on the Draft Climate Change Bill on Wednesday 16 May 2007; and before the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs 'Efra' Committee of the House of Commons on Monday 21 May 2007.

His evidence will focus on the legal aspects of the proposals, the role and functions of the proposed Climate Change Committee, the regulation making powers reserved to the Secretary of State, and the links between UK national and international and European Union climate change legislation, as well as devolution aspects of the legislation.

Evidence will be given in public and available on the Internet and in transcript through Parliament.
