Dr
Jeff Chapman, Trade Partners UK’s export promoter for worldwide
energy will be giving an overview of Carbon Sequestration as it applies
to the UK, and speaking about the work of the US-led Carbon Sequestration
Leadership Forum.
William
Wilson, Director Cambrensis will give an introduction to the
legal issues concerning geological carbon sequestration, in place of
Ray Purdy of UCL, who will not be able to attend the seminar.
RENEWABLES TARGETS

Richard
Brook, Director of Business Development, New and Renewable Energy
Centre, Blyth,
Northumberland will review the capacity of different
renewables technologies to contribute to achieving the UK government’s
renewables targets.
Melville

be speaking about
the economic aspects of different renewable
technologies, and the implications of these for the government’s
renewables targets.
